School Enrichment Programs

Education Outside the Classroom

It’s those two little words that students always love to hear… “Field Trip”! Teachers, we’d love to host your class for a fun and educational visit to the Museum of Lennox & Addington.

This Fall, we are have a variety of programs suited for Grades K all the way through Grade 12. New this year is also the opportunity for us to bring a Museum program to your classroom! Our education programs bring history to life through hands-on activities, stories, creativity, and exploration. Choose from programs exploring local wildlife and the environment, identity and community, textiles and ceramics, historical research, paper conservation, family history, and more!

Ongoing Programs

Responsible Citizenship & Government (Best for Grades 4-8. Available in English AND French!)

Students explore what it means to be an engaged and responsible citizen through interactive activities, teamwork, and friendly competition at the Museum. This program examines the roles and responsibilities of all levels of government, challenges students to consider different community and national perspectives, and includes a themed gallery game that encourages discovery throughout the museum.

This ongoing program is available to be booked year-round at a time that works for your class, and is offered in both English and French.
