Government Records

Learn about the holdings for the County of Lennox and Addington and its municipalities from the late nineteenth century to the present.

The Archives acquires and preserves records from L&A County and its townships including assessment roles, voters lists, minutes and bylaws, and other early records from the 18th century – present.

An amalgamation in 1998 created the current four townships in Lennox and Addington County: Township of Addington Highlands, Loyalist Township, Township of Stone Mills and the Town of Greater Napanee. Records from present day and historical townships (Abinger, Adolphustown, Anglesea, Ashby, Camden, Denbigh, Ernestown, North Fredericksburgh, South Fredericksburgh, Richmond, Sheffield) and villages (Napanee, Bath, Newburgh) can be used in the archives.
