Please join us at the Museum for a conversation and exhibit opening with artist, Bill Vanwart. This one time special exhibition features a 30 year retrospective of his art. While the exhibit is here all summer long, we have Bill here for one night only for conversation and laughter while he shares with us his musings and inspirations in art and life.
Joe Ramsay will also be on site for the evening to treat us with his music. Joe plays acoustic guitar in the style of Bruce Cockburn, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Jim Croce, and more. His performances include original songs and covers of songs spanning the last 50 years.

Speaker bio:
Bill describes himself as “A little Van Gogh, a little Dali, a lot of Group of Seven and a dash of J.C. Roy and me”. Bill has been oil painting for a number of years now. After teaching Art at High School for 30 years and trying to fit painting in when he could. Bill is now retired and able to paint every day. He decided to move away from landscapes, buildings and the like, to Art which gives the viewer a little more to imagine and a little more to ponder.
