Feathered Friends with the Kingston Field Naturalists

As a biologist, Shirley French would like to show you some bird ‘skins’ (freeze-dried specimens) from the Kingston Field Naturalists (KFN) collection overseen by Anne Robertson (one of KFN’s long-standing members and contributors to nature education).

We have birds in our region that pass through on their migration routes but many who stay here to nest.  On the other hand, we have species with great survival skills that will stick around in the winter also.  I hope to share with you some of their identifying features and interesting life habits.

Time: 1:30pm

Cost: $3 admission

Everyone Welcome!

No pre-registration required.
