It’s a Demo Day at the Macpherson House & Park in Napanee! On August 25th at 2pm join Linda Wolfram Fraser from Garden Studio who will be demonstrating leaf art. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the workshop and create a one of a kind piece of art for free! Let’s have some fun with our natural surroundings! Linda Fraser from The Garden Studio in Kingston will teach you how to press leaves so they will last many years. You will then have all the supplies and instructions to arrange and rearrange pre-pressed leaves to create your very own fanciful characters. After you have created your masterpiece you will place it on a card or bookmark as a keepsake or to give away.
Admission is free! No registration is required. Demo Days take place Tuesday and Thursdays in July and August under the event tent, on the parkland of the Macpherson House. For more information, call 613-354-3027.
Linda Wolfram Fraser is the owner and artist from The Garden Studio where she creates one of a kind pottery, jewelry, stained glass and more! She has an innate desire to create. Using nature as her inspiration, she plays with mud in her Garden Studio, which is located in beautiful Kingston, Ontario. Creating everything from small mugs to trays and large bowls, she is fascinated in all things pottery. From the creation of different shapes and sizes to the chemical compositions of the glazes and the temperatures of the firing, she is hooked!
