Curated by Ernestown Secondary School Art Students
Summer 2023
The Museum of Lennox and Addington is pleased to present this special exhibit created and curated by art students from Ernestown Secondary School. The museum strives to make space for all people, this special project provides connection and voice to a group of incredible young people who have something to say.
Our lives are a collection of experiences. Big or small, experiences are the moments that shape the way we think about the world, the way we think about others, and the way we think about ourselves. It informs our values, beliefs, and choices as we navigate life. These experiences make us human and expand our knowledge of the world and how we fit in it. It is our hope that the exhibit will offer insight into our personal experiences so that viewers may better understand others and make connections to themselves.
We feel fortunate to have this unique opportunity to participate in the exhibit and are excited todo something they have never done before. As creative people, we are looking forward to producing artworks that will be seen beyond the walls of the school and look forward to having a real world experience that may not happen again.
