Join artist Theresa Brant as she guides you through creating your own version of her painting “Bloom with Grace”.
In Theresa’s words: This painting celebrates the wisdom, strength, laughter and stories that have grown through the seasons of life. All supplies are included in the workshop. While enjoying this artist guided paint workshop, you can also take a nostalgic jaunt down memory lane as you explore a curated selection of historic materials from 1976, the year the museum opened.

Artist Bio:
I’m a self-taught Mohawk Artist from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Ontario Canada. I’ve always wanted to try to paint a flower but never had time as I was always working, that was until the Pandemic hit.
Curious Roots: Creative Explorations of Communities
Curious Roots is a brand-new series of workshops offered by the Museum of Lennox and Addington, with the support of the Government of Ontario 2026-27 Seniors Community Grant Program. We have created this series of accessible workshops to connect seniors together by learning new art skills and exploring the history of the community through photos, videos, newspaper articles, and much more. Our overarching goal is combat social isolation by forming connections between seniors and the wider community past and present, and promoting bonds through shared art experiences.
